Draft and depth checker
Will it strip clean?
Texture that looks great on a drawing can chip on strip if the depth and draft are wrong. Enter your relief and draft, and get a plain verdict against PCI guidance for architectural precast.
1 : n means one inch of taper for every n inches of depth. Smaller n is steeper and strips easier.
Verdict
Based on PCI guidance for architectural precast: keep design depth generally in the half inch to one inch range, hold minimum positive draft of one in twelve with one in eight preferred, go steeper for narrow or delicate sections, and give relief deeper than an inch a wide depressed area.
Not sure the profile will cast?
Send the drawing. We check depth, draft, and edges against what actually strips clean, then build the liner.
