Texas A&M Kyle Field

Kyle Field at Texas A&M is one of the largest stadiums in college football, and its precast panels carry embedded thin brick that ties the building to the university’s masonry look. Enterprise Precast cast the embedded brick panels, and the job put the liner to a real test: a lot of brick, tight schedules, and a finish that had to read as true masonry across a huge elevation.

The value showed up on the casting bed. As Scott Davis, Plant Manager at Enterprise Precast, put it, the liner sealed around the brick better than plastic or rubber could and was easy to place. That is the whole case for an embedded brick system built for the work. A liner that seals tight to the brick leaves no ledge, so the mortar lines read clean, and a liner that places easily saves the crew time on every panel.

For a producer, that combination is the point. The panels come out looking like laid masonry, and the bed keeps moving because the liner is not fighting the crew. On a job the size of Kyle Field, both of those add up fast.
