Common questions

How many continuing education credits does each session carry?
A lunch and learn carries 1 LU|HSW, in person or virtual. A plant tour carries 2 to 4 LU|HSW, depending on how long the tour runs, and covers manufacturing and casting first hand.
Do the sessions count for CEU credit?
Yes. The programs are ALA and AIA approved and meet NCARB standards. We register the learning units, take attendance, and issue certificates after the session, so the credit lands without paperwork on your desk.
Can we do it virtually?
Yes. Sessions run in person at your office or live over video, and the credit is the same either way. Virtual works well when a firm wants to pull in people from more than one office.
What does a session cover?
Why liner seams show and how seamless systems end the problem, how thin brick formliners work, the depth and draft rules that let texture strip clean per PCI guidance, and how to specify a formliner so the submittal does not bounce. We tailor the depth to the room, whether it is a design studio or a plant.
What happens on the plant tour?
You see liners being made on the floor at the plant, then see concrete cast against them. The extra hour over a lunch and learn is the manufacturing floor and the casting demonstration, which is the part that does not translate to a conference room.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Advanced covers the session, the credit filing, and lunch when we come to you. You bring the room and the questions.
